Since the day that guitar train grabbed me from the station
I’ve been steady trying to find me through honky tonk salvation
It’s been a long lonesome year of relocation
But this is what I asked for so, I ain’t complaining
I saw the Rocky Mountains silhouette a midnight sky
And drank a cup of coffee with an eastern sunrise
I did some window thinking through all day long drives
And I drove myself crazy ‘cause I kept asking why
I can’t just be happy with where I’m at
My head’s in the clouds and my heart’s in the past
It’s like I’ve been living with no address
I love that I’m seeing more, but hate that I’m coming home less
